Sixteen-Hour On-The-Job Training

- i. About Couse:
1. The sixteen-hour on the job training course is a security guard
training course required by the New York State Division of
Criminal Justice Services that must be taken before completing
the first 90 days of employment as a security officer. This course
goes further in-depth of the duties of a security officer, the
challenges they may face, as well as the professional standards
they are expected to uphold. Students must complete the course
in its entirety to be given credit. - ii. Attendance:
1. Students are required to complete all courses in their entirety to
meet the standards of completion. Students shall not receive
status of completion if they do not. All students are asked to
arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the class start time to be
properly signed in.
